Rasp & Sturt is a local Broken Hill magazine owned and operated by The Black Sheep Company. Both of these organisations are based in Broken Hill as well as having offices and studios in Adelaide in SA and Perth in WA.
The Black Sheep Company owns two magazines at the moment. Rasp & Sturt is the original magazine based in Broken Hill and the second is called The Rooster, which is a magazine based in North Adelaide.
The Black Sheep Company also owns the professional photographic business called The Nomad Company and this business works in conjunction with the two new magazines.
The Black Sheep Company also has a number of small non media businesses interests in Adelaide and Perth.
Rasp & Sturt is a very heathy, well supported vibrant publication designed with an aim of representing Broken Hill and the surrounding area with a new fresh feel and vision about the entire Outback area.
We love the area we live in and love that we have the opportunity to showcase the place we were born in and grew up in - it is an amazing place that stays with you all of your life.
Our magazine is all about representing all of the people that live out here. We want to tell their stories and share their stories with other like minded people and people all over the country and the world.
Our future aim is to create a multi media style business based in Broken Hill but showcasing the entire west and far west of NSW.
